BEVERLY HILLS, CA — March 13, 2026 — Los Angeles Magazine kicked off Oscars weekend with its annual Women of Impact Luncheon, an inspiring gathering celebrating influential leaders, entrepreneurs, creatives, and changemakers shaping Los Angeles and beyond. The event took place at The Beverly Hilton, bringing together hundreds of notable women from across entertainment, business, philanthropy, and media.

The highlight of the afternoon was a special tribute to actress and advocate Olivia Munn, the March cover star of the magazine’s LA Woman issue, who was named 2026 Woman of the Year. Munn was recognized not only for her acting career but also for her advocacy work raising awareness about breast cancer screening and prevention.

During the event, Munn participated in a keynote Q&A conversation with Jasmin Rosemberg, reflecting on her personal journey, career milestones, and commitment to health advocacy. The conversation was introduced by Munn’s longtime friend, actress and podcast host Jessica St. Clair.

The luncheon was hosted by Chris Gialanella, with opening remarks from Sharona Nazarian, who welcomed guests and emphasized the importance of celebrating women making meaningful contributions to their communities and industries.

LA Magazine’s Panel of LA Women

Prior to the keynote conversation, two-time Emmy-winning television personality Carly Steel moderated a panel discussion featuring several women highlighted in the LA Woman issue. Panelists included actress and producer Corinne Foxx, Academy Award-winning costume designer Ruth E. Carter, Corinne Verdery, and prominent women’s rights attorney Genie Harrison.

The event welcomed an impressive list of attendees from entertainment, media, and philanthropy, including Jennie Garth, Jane Seymour, Eva LaRue, Annabeth Gish, Lisa Vidal, celebrity esthetician Shani Darden, aerospace engineer and entrepreneur Aisha Bowe, and philanthropist Nancy Davis, among many others.

Before the seated luncheon, guests walked a vibrant pink carpet and explored an elevated marketplace of brand activations on the Beverly Hilton’s garden patio. The space featured beauty, wellness, fashion, and lifestyle partners, along with cocktail and wine tastings, photo opportunities, and the “Women of Impact” digital studio.

Sponsors and partners for the 2026 event included Maison Perrier, HRC Fertility, J Vineyards & Winery, Empress 1908 Gin, and Yelp, along with a variety of fashion, wellness, and hospitality partners.

Following the outdoor reception, more than 500 guests gathered inside the hotel’s International Ballroom for the luncheon program, curated by publisher Chris Gialanella and Editor-in-Chief Jasmin Rosemberg in celebration of the magazine’s annual LA Woman issue and its 2026 honoree, Olivia Munn.

The Women of Impact luncheon continues to serve as a powerful platform celebrating the women shaping Los Angeles across industries from entertainment and entrepreneurship to philanthropy and public service.
