(The Hollywood Times) 9/24/25 – Only two actors in history have appeared on both Saturday Night Live and MADtv: Jeff Richards and Taran Killam. In my interview with Richards, he discussed being a comedian for over 20 years, what comedy means to him, and his comedic approach. Richards elaborates on how important it is for comedians to tell jokes that diverse audiences can understand and resonate with. When discussing his podcast, The Jeff Richards Show, Richards’ passion for comedy was very apparent. On the podcast, Richards has interviewed notable actors like Bill Burr and Alec Baldwin. He interviews them in character, using deepfake filters to portray famous actors such as Robert Downey Jr. and Alex Jones. Richard’s versatile and open-minded approach to comedy make it easy to understand why he’s had such an enduring career.
