Los Angeles, CA (The Hollywood Times) 9/14/25 – Every year as the holidays approach, Hollywood Boulevard transforms into a dazzling corridor of lights, floats, and marching bands for the Hollywood Christmas Parade. For me, the anticipation is as magical as the parade itself. As a proud member of the press corps, I look forward not only to the spectacle on the street but also to the conversations that unfold on the red carpet.
Covering this parade has become one of the highlights of my year. The red-carpet buzzes with stars, musicians, and community figures, each adding their own sparkle to the season. I’ve had the chance to meet and interview icons, and few moments stand out as much as the year Danny Trejo walked the carpet. His warmth and generosity shined brighter than the lights strung across Hollywood Boulevard. That night, I spoke not just with him but with nearly everyone who attended — performers, celebrities, and unsung community heroes who give the parade its heart.
What excites me most is the mixture of tradition and fresh energy. The Hollywood Christmas Parade honors its long history while continually evolving. Every year there’s something new — from surprise musical guests to themed floats that capture the spirit of the times. As a reporter, I get the privilege of being at the center of it all, connecting with the stories behind the glitter.
As the 2025 parade approaches, my anticipation grows once again. I know the night will bring not only the joy of the season but also the unexpected moments — a candid remark, a heartfelt laugh, a shared memory — that make the Hollywood Christmas Parade more than just an event. For me, it’s a tradition of storytelling, a chance to celebrate community through the voices of those who bring it to life.
