After meeting members of the OsteoStrong team at the Healthspan Productions-sponsored 2025 Longevity Leadership Conference, I decided to explore what this new skeletal biohack was about. By the way, Healthspan Productions also has the Healthspan Summit coming up in West Los Angeles.
At the Brentwood location, my girlfriend and I joined the community by getting Echolight REMS scans of our bones. Similar to an ultrasound, this process involves no radiation and is completely safe. It’s user-friendly and quick. Although we felt a little nervous at first, all those worries faded away once we started the process.
We worked with Victoria Atempa, a Certified Ultrasound Technician known in SoCal as Employee #1 of the OsteoStrong expansion. Victoria delivered outstanding customer service, making the process easy to grasp. While guiding a client through the Echolight REMS process, she offered access to something that could have felt overwhelming. Instead, the non-invasive bone scan felt helpful and positive.
Although I won’t share our results since that information is private, we were both pleased with them. Recognizing the risks of fractures as people age and the importance of understanding your bone microarchitecture to prevent issues, OsteoStrong offers a smart healthcare service worth considering. As part of my ongoing exploration into opportunities through the longevity movement, OsteoStrong proved to be a valuable discovery.
