St. Tropez & The Monaco Yacht Show

My whole life I have always gotten in trouble for trying to live the good life and for looking for glamour. It started as a child when I would go to Hebrew school and or Jewish camps, I loved the brilliant education I was receiving but then as I got older, I was always ostracized by my desire to not only be smart but to look glamorous and keep my European aesthetic. I was told that I’m shallow, and more materialistic for my way of thinking. It was my mother who told me she was watching Russian television one day and one of their brilliant scholars explained that the name you give your child is how their destiny will go. My parents did not give me a Jewish name; they gave me a French name “Josephine”. Its Jewish tradition to name your child after a deceased relative, however my grandfather from my dad’s side did not make it to America when they emigrated from Soviet Union through Italy So when I was born, I was named after my deceased grandfather Joseph.
“Josephine De Beauharnais” the most famous Josephine in the world was the first wife of Napoleon Bonaparte, and Empress of the French from 1804 to 1810. She was the Queen of Italy from 1805-1810. She was also a trendsetter in Parisian society, and always had a very glamorous life. I find myself trying to follow in her footsteps unintentionally. Hence my name was given to me. On my recent trip to St. Tropez and Monaco, it felt like I lived there in a previous life. There is something so magical about the French Riviera. I realized that what got me into trouble my whole life is now my new specialty in reporting. I am a specialist in finding “The Good Life” and “Glamour” worldwide. Dr. Phil called it grandiose, but in “The South of France” it’s considered the only way of life!
I went to the South of France to cover the Monaco Yacht Show. However, I always wanted to go to St. Tropez, so I figured this trip was the perfect time. I must say I fell in love with St. Tropez immediately and it fell in love with me equally. On my second day I met a very handsome Frenchman on Bumble. Not only was he tall, good looking, young and very generous but he took me and my model friend Tatiana V Tom to all the hot spots and introduced me to some of the most delicious French foods I have ever eaten. To me food is one of my aphrodisiacs. In addition, my Frenchman was so romantic, sensual and we had a lot in common. He is also in the entertainment industry. On our first date he took me to Le Senequier in St. Tropez and introduced me to Pata Negra (Iberian Ham” (Black Pig))” a popular dish in Spanish and Portuguese cuisine.
He then took my friend and I to Cherry restaurant which was so romantic, and I must say delicious. It was so romantic. Throughout my stay in St. Tropez my “Frenchman “took me to Hotel Byblos and we drake some of the most refined wines while gazing into the endless sky. We also went to one of my favorite restaurants Le Café, which turned into an amazing club throughout the night.
When I left St. Tropez to go to Monaco, for the Yacht Show, I never realized what I was missing all these years. I mean Miami, Hawaii is nice, but St Tropez is a haven for good looking tall handsome successful men. I have never seen so many rich men in my life and good looking. The beach clubs, restaurants, fashion were everything I have read about and more. But in St. Tropez I could be the real me! The 5’10. Flashy, sexy Amazonian woman and all loved it.
When I said goodbye to my Frenchman he told me he has real feelings for me like he has known me for many years. I told him the feelings were mutual. It felt like a romance in my college days where you meet someone who is the same age/status, and you have your whole life ahead of you. A connection based on pure physical chemistry and having a good time, where time feels endless.
The Frenchman ended up surprising me and drove to Monaco to spend some time with me. He ended up taking my friend Tatiana V tom and I to all the hot spots and he kept impressing me.
I got invited to a wonderful event by FGI Yacht Group & Professional Woman in Yachting, Women and Wine through my famous friend from Los Angeles Tara Sutphen (Psychic to the stars). I met some extremely successful woman in yachting that I had the pleasure of interviewing for The Hollywood Times. They really empowered me to keep evolving. One was Samantha Moore, Founder of Professional Woman in Yachting, Katherine Meservier, Marketing Manager of FGI Yachts, Chloe a beautiful sexy captain. (See Video Interviews).
The party was so my style, caviar by Altima, Champagne, and amazing catering by Mamas fruits. The next day was very lucky for me. As I was press, I did not have access to get on these yachts. To get on these yachts one must be a yacht broker and or yacht owner. Of course, if you know owners one can get on, but I don’t know any. I told them I am a different kind of broker (Real Estate) and owner of Thoroughbred Racehorses in California, and I could see they got annoyed. I felt stuck, but I remembered how I got everywhere I needed to go by being “Only Josie Knows” and going for it (old school style). I got into SAG, I earned pieces of winning Thoroughbred Racehorses, and I got on page six front page with A list celebrity when I was a reality star.
I made the impossible possible. I did not come to The Monaco Yacht show as a reporter to sit at the Dock and watch the show from the outside. I walked through the boat show and approached every booth until one Yacht company said yes for a tour and interview. They call it Freewheeling in America. Well, I approached 10 different countries who had their yachts on the main dock, and I got lucky with a Turkish Company RMK Marine. They liked my hustle. They also loved my Model Tatiana V Tom and said Russian woman are the best.
Tatiana introduced me to her friend Fred who is a videographer and his own company, VDFVIDEO and has worked for Cannes Film festival and shot an amazing interview with notable German Actress Diane Kruger.

I also managed to get an interview from a sexy Italian yacht captain Danilo Donadello who explained to me what a “RIB” boat is… see interview very interesting.
I had a wonderful time in Monaco. I loved swimming in the Mediterranean turquoise Sea while eating amazing French food while frolicking in the sun with all these handsome European men. I love the fashion, mentality and love how Prince Albert (2) of Monaco has control over his country where one can feel safe and still live life to the fullest. There is something about Prince Alberts ruling power where you feel that citizens and or guests of Monaco, follow a certain standard of etiquette and protocol. You can just feel a booming economy and the positivity of opportunities for all. People always ask me where I would live if I did not live in America, I would have to say Monaco! I am “Only Josie Knows” and I highly recommend you take a holiday to St Tropez and to Monaco and find yourself a “Frenchman.
