Born and raised in Texas, she just made an incredible soul album, is set to open shows for Blues Traveler in NYC, Chicago, and Boston, made her Chicago Blues Fest debut this year to a 100k+ crowd, and was just added to Spotify’s official Retro Soul playlist. The recording of his new album The In Between was interrupted by throat cancer, from which he has thankfully recovered. The In Between (which came out Sept. 13) is an examination of Louisiana (where he grew up) and is an unapologetic rock & roll album.
