ALL NEW Hannah Swensen Mystery Tonight, Friday April 5 9/8c
Hannah Swensen (Alison Sweeney) has been asked to teach a baking class at the college in town, but her equipment is tampered with causing an explosion that the fire department rules an accident. Soon, a colleague ends up dead and Hannah begins to put together the puzzle of the mysterious circumstances surrounding the murder while being on the list of suspects herself. Hannah leans on her friends and family to collect the breadcrumbs of foul play and put them together, and meets a different side of law and order when she crosses paths with Lake Eden’s by-the book prosecuting attorney Chad Norton (Victor Webster).
“One Bad Apple” has a great cast of characters that only adds to this new Hannah Swensen Mystery. It was great to see Oliver Rice in the movie too. So cool that Alison Sweeney wrote this one as well as Executive Producer. The show is based on the novel Apple Turnover Murder by Joanne Flake. Way to go Alison to bring it to The Hallmark Channel Hannah Swensen Mysteries! Who doesn’t like apples and seeing some beautiful red candy apples too. There is a scene where Alison is making some apple turnovers, wow, I want that recipe now. Lots of clues to pay attention, and Barbara Niven’s character Delores will delight you in this movie. I really like the music chosen in this film. It was awesome to see Victor Webster on the show. Seeing him and Alison together again brings you right back to The Wedding Veil movies on The Hallmark Channel that we all fell in love with these two stars. Don’t miss this great Who Done It mystery movie tonight. It’s a great way to spend your Friday night, maybe even a date night with that someone special, some wine, fish or steak, or soda pop and popcorn, whichever you choose, you will enjoy this movie. Victor Webster (Chad Norton)
Webster has been actor for over two decades with starring roles in films like The Scorpion King 3 and 4 and on the TV series Continuum. He has starred in over a dozen projects for Hallmark including the Matchmaker Mysteries movies and The Wedding Veil trilogies.
Barbara Niven (Delores)
Niven is a staple on Hallmark Channel, it seems. She has had supporting roles in over two dozen movies including the Crossword Mysteries and Christmas in Evergreen films. She also starred as Megan O’Brien on Chesapeake Shores in all six seasons of the show. She is also the National Ambassador for American Humane.
