Some say it was caused from the amount of cigarettes Lily Rose Depp smoked in the first episode of “The Idol.” Others say it was caused by the fires in Canada. Last week as an orange filter overtook the East Coast, New York City began to look more like a Wes Anderson film and less like Carrie Bradshaw’s stomping ground. But the polluted air wasn’t the only orange thing taking over NYC this past week. Spray tanned celebrities gathered in the city for the Tribeca Film Festival, the Tony Awards and the premiere of Anderson’s new film “Asteroid City.”
