The first Pride celebration of the year starts on FRIDAY with a free outdoor screening of Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert, and the debut of the first-ever Pride–themed drone aerial show, all at the Cathedral City Amphitheater, followed by an official after-party. SATURDAY, enjoy Drag Brunch and a daytime Pool Party at Paloma Resort featuring KGAY’s DJ Modgirl and guest hosts, and join famed comedian Del Shores and the cast of Sordid Lives in an all-star tribute to Leslie Jordan at the Mary Pickford Theater. SUNDAY cap it off with the iconic Bed Race in front of City Hall with host Bella da Ball, KGAY Morning Show host John Taylor, live music by The Dreamboats and Palm Springs Gay Men’s Chorus, and a Post-Race T-Dance hosted by the world-famous Abbey West Hollywood. World Pride Mardi Gras Fashion Show
The World Pride Mardi Gras Fashion Show is on Saturday, March 4 from 6:30–9:30 pm at the Palm Springs Art Museum, with host Jake Ingrassia, and DJ Galaxy spinning! Meet international fashion designers Erick Bendana and Gabriela Idiaquez Vargas of Nicaragua, and enjoy Palm Springs pool & resort wear fashions by El Tuggle, as well as men’s formal wear by Giovanni Testi and designer Eruvey Tapia. On Friday and Saturday, March 3 & 4, the McCallum Theatre presents Michael Feinstein & Jean-Yves Thibaudet – Two Pianos: Who Could Ask For Anything More at 8 pm both nights. The two artists join forces for the first time in an innovative program for two pianos celebrating the music of George Gershwin and his world.
