West Hollywood, CA (The Hollywood Times) 7/24/2022 – As the Southern California sun shined bright this past weekend, Angelenos arrived to visit the Alfred Tea Room in West Hollywood for Kendall Jenner’s award-winning 818 Tequila pop-up. Alfred Tea Room opened its doors for registered guests to enjoy limited edition custom-crafted cocktails made with tea, coffee, and tequila.

During this one-day-only event, attendees celebrated National Tequila Day in style. Alfred and 818 Tequila joined forces to offer some of the best-tasting cocktails around. The drinks continued flowing from noon until 6 p.m., and those who arrived early received complimentary highly sought-after 818 merch. Registration was free but didn’t guarantee admission and the line kept growing, at one-point circling around the block.

It was worth the wait, though, as each guest enjoyed a complimentary cocktail of their choice from the menu featuring:

  • Tea-quila Peach Palmer – A spiked spin on the classic Arnold Palmer with 818 Tequila Blanco, white tea with peaches, lemon, and sugar
  • Carajillo – A riff on the Mexican-Spanish drink, this one is combined with 818 Tequila Añejo, Alfred’s signature cold brew coffee, and citrus-infused vanilla syrup
  • Sip of Summer – 818 Tequila Reposado paired with guava, hibiscus, and lime, topped with seltzer.

Produced in Jalisco, Mexico, 818 Tequila uses traditional methods at a family-owned and operated distillery. Founded by Kendall Jenner, the label has won 25 blind tasting awards, sustainably made from 100% Weber Blue agaves. It comes in a Blanco, Reposado, and Anejo, offering a smooth and tasty tequila that can be enjoyed by itself or in a cocktail. Learn more at 818 Tequila.
